It's a museum adventure/time travel story! Yippee! And despite all this, it was only ok. Loved the idea, that there was a bit more going on in the kids' lives than just this adventure, and that the magic was never fully explained. But the kids broke every time travel rule (yes, tell people in 1680 that you're from Chicago. That won't be a problem at all. . .), and there were several other moments where I rolled my eyes. Not a bad listen for a road trip, but not one I'd necessarily recommend.
