Written in 2004, a lot of this felt specific for the time (focus on terrorism and 9/11, long rambling quotes from the Qur'an, etc) and a little outdated.

Unfortunately, a lot of his fears have come true. We only have to look at the Christian-driven abortion restrictions in the American South today to see that he was entirely correct in worrying that religion will doom us all. Not to get too dreary, but I really fucking hate religion.

It wasn't my most favorite pro-atheism book as he spent way too much time delineating things in history and quoting from religious texts and it made me more depressed than anything. But his ideas are well thought out and his arguments are precise, and I am glad I read it.
