As someone who has experienced my own dark night of the soul, I know I'll be coming back to this beautiful collection again and again. Morey's poems, which cover topics as broad as marriage and spirituality, motherhood and global warming, are at once both deeply personal and strikingly universal. As with all good poetry, her detailed descriptions of her own unique experiences and emotions manage to speak profoundly into those of her readers. I couldn't recommend this collection highly enough.
