Santa's Twin by Phil Parks, Dean Koontz
4.0

All is quiet. Everything is covered with snow, lights from windows are twinkling in the night, and sleigh bells are ringing in the sky. It's that time of year! But wait...
"Something is wrong - any fool could tell.
If this is Santa, then Santa's not well.
His mean little eyes spin just like tops.
So somebody better quick call the cops!"

Santa's tied up in a cellar at the North Pole, and his evil twin intends to ruin Christmas. Not the usual syrupy story, but it does include two sisters trying to save everyone's holiday spirit. A little fun, a little mischief, and gorgeous illustrations. The rhyming gives it a nice touch, and if you look closely, you can find a snowman lurking on every page.

If you think Gremlins is a Christmas movie, this is for you.
