this made no sense?

a woman that enjoys hallmark movies, accidentally leaves a door open and the dog gets run over, has a baby but doesn’t care for it because “mommy” comes to do that because apparently she can’t be trusted tot ale care of her own kid at 41 after a dog escapes out of a back door?

also who calls her mom “mommy” at that age?

the characters where super strange and unrealistic, i didn’t understand the point of this story at all.

the other stories so far all had some kind of sense to them. adoption or family or loss or ... there was a point. there was not necessarily a message but a specific topic and point made through the short story.

this one made no sense other then showing an unhappy woman being unhappy and getting kidnapped and it all made zero sense!

i think this author is just not for me.
