This was a good read - I especially loved that there were subtle hints/nods to fairytales and magic that you could choose to ignore or lean into depending on what suited your fancy. The prose read well. The love interest felt a little too good to be true, though, and it seemed unrealistic that he'd decide to move just because they weren't together, after all his history in the town.
