This book is a cozy Nancy Drew-esque story with additional ghosts, annd library cat, and small town vibes. I enjoyed putting it on in the background while doing chores and driving to work. I may have missed something, but I don’t think the FMC needed to be so mean to Julie the reporter? Like yah she was disturbing the peace, but she was just trying to advance in her passion and also sort of came through in the end. Carrie kinda did her dirty. I did like how the small town dynamics were shown because yah…that’s how it be.
