A mix
I wanted to love this book— overall the premise is fun and the girls’ characters were interesting to follow along with. However, I felt that the parental figures were selfish and inconsiderate in several instances and it was hard to get past that within the plot overall. A lot of plot points and characters beats hinged on the parental character choices and they muddled the story unnecessarily. I liked the main parts and the Naomi interactions, but much of the tension in this book wasn’t explained well enough or was ineffectual.
