This was the original ending to the Enola Holmes series, although there has since been another book published. The emotional resolution to the plot arc is pretty much perfect and the book left me with a smile on my face. The relationship between Enola, Sherlock and Mycroft is at the heart of this series and I adore it.

That said, this was not a perfect book. The case was intriguing but once again a bit overly melodramatic. There were also a couple of moments in the story that made me a bit uncomfortable, especially for a children's book.

Overall though I've had a great time reading this series and enjoyed this book. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can get hold of book seven.
