I was waiting for this book because I met Violet and Cole in the Chestnut Springs series and loved them. I did not expect how they started. Violet is a wildcard and Cole needed someone to help him break out of his shell. They are the perfect fit for a couple. Another book where there is a grumpy MMC and a sunshine FMC and I eat it up every time.
Again another Patrick moment where he hurt Violet then tried to come on to her. Someone needs to put him in his place and that person was Violet :). The trauma that is talked about in this book although Cole has dealt with being in a war zone as a soldier the worse trauma he mentions is the loss of his father from racing so seeing Violet on a horse scares him. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ this man can talk and that's all I need to say.
I am loving this series and if you like the authors other books this is worth the read.
Happy reading everyone 📚
