It's possible I struggled with this simply because I'm just not that into zombie stories, but I about gave up multiple times. While aiming to be kitschy and silly, rather than out right scary, many of the grotesque violent and disgusting scenes were a bit over-the-top for something that was supposed to be a goof. From "isn't it funny his Butler is wearing a prostitutes leg" to "children and babies are separated from their mothers in the work house, their screams filled the air." Oh um, that tone is another direction. In end this felt neither fun or scary and it really needed to be one of the two. All that said, I liked Victoria and the treatment of her as a character.
