In Plain Sight: An investigation into UFOs and impossible science
by Ross Coulthart
dark
mysterious
tense
medium-paced
Not going to lie, this was an interesting read. I had to pick this one up because I am taking a course on aliens and UFOs in American culture and this is one of the books that was assigned to the class by the professor. Frankly, I really don't know what to say about this other than I didn't know how extensive all of this alien stuff could go. Also like what is it that we the people don't know? Why? It's so weird to me to think about.
Coulhart does a good job at explaining things. He does have the credentials for it and for what it's worth, this book is pretty interesting. And I do mean that in a good way. Like if you want to dig into the history of aliens without all of the wack outlandish conspiracy bs, this is a good start (even though there is some conspiracies in this but you know what I mean).
I did feel like there were parts that kind of slogged on as I began to skim over bits of it. Needless to say, even though I had to read this for a class, it's not that bad.
