This memoir is absolutely beautiful. Tembi Locke discusses her grief and her love in such a real yet poetic way that really stuck with me. She shows all of the little intricacies that go into familial relationships and how they evolve over time and through different experiences. It was such an amazing read that allowed me to feel a very full range of emotions throughout it.
