The Man in the Black Suit
by Sylvain Reynard
ARC received for an honest review
Sylvain Reynard is one of my must read authors. It has been a while since we have had a new book, however it is worth every second of the wait.
We are again swept away in an epic story of love, mystery and intrigue.
This is the story of Nicholas and Acacia. Their world's couldn't be further apart, but at the same time overlap.
I adored Acacia right from the get go. I love that she is strong and sassy and takes not crap from anybody. I love that she also wants nothing from anyone and stands on her own.
Nicholas, well he is one that it took me a while to warm up to, but once I did... *fans myself*.
It also took a lot of time for me to feel the connection between our lovelies, though I could feel their passion right away. Might have just been my frame of mind when I was reading though.
Their commitment to their secrets has to be admired too - even when it causes more dramas.
Reynard takes us on a whirlwind world tour with The Man In The Black Suit. Mostly set in beautiful Paris, we just never knew where they would end up next.
Reynard writes with such beautiful imagery , that you can't help but get swept away and can feel yourself in each new city. I felt like I travelled to half of Europe without even leaving my couch.
Dark, intense and mysterious, I didn't want The Man In The Black Suit to end.
Can't wait to see what we get next.
