My Favorite Mistake by Chelsea M. Cameron

I have had this sitting on my shelf it seems for forever, but I have finally gotten around to reading it. It is my first Chelsea M Cameron read, so I didn't know what to expect.

Let me just say, right from the get go, that Hunter made this story for me. Complex, but straight to the point when it comes to Taylor.

Taylor - gah, I just wanted to shake some sense into the girl. Yes, I know she has had some past dramas, but man, most of the time I just felt like she was a bitch. This did get better as the story progressed, but her bitterness towards Hunter for most of the story was just mean and unnecessary (but this could just be my feelings).

I did love the slow burn of their relationship - I am definitely not a fan of the insta-love - lust yes, but not love). It was a joy to watch their walls come down as they moved their relationship along.

There are some great secondary characters too - I would love to know more about Taylor's sister.

So, while I liked My Favourite Mistake, my lack of connection (or general annoyance with) with Taylor took my enjoyment down just a little bit.

I am glad I finally read this, and will soon by reading My Sweetest Escape sooner rather than later.
