This was such a heartbreaking second chance. I went into this thinking it was going to be a cute holiday romance only but man was I surprised. There is loss, grief, healing, love and so much more.
Jesse would vacation with his mom and dad in Greece during the summer as he was growing up. There he met Deme and his dad. There was an attraction between the two when they were teens and one summer things began to cross that line from friends to more. That is until Jesse announces something that rips, Jesse and Dem apart. Years pass with no communication before Jesse finds himself back in Greece after tragedy struck.
I loved watching these two fall back in love with each. There was definitely some bumps in the beginning while they were both working out their past feelings and betrayal. These two had to work hard for their HEA but that ending was absolutely perfect for them.
