Alright, where to start?

I have mixed feelings about this book. I didn't hate it or dislike it, but I also didn't like it? I don't know.

I didn't feel much when reading this? I wasn't excited to continue or wanting to know what happens next - though that was mostly because I found the plot really predictable. At the beginning of the book I had already figured out some things that happened in the end.

I also felt like it went really fast? Maybe it's because I'm used to books being 400+ pages, but the problem solving was just... underwhelming? The problem gets introduced and gets bigger for a big part of the book, and then in a few pages it's solved, and not even in a 'wow, so cool' way or anything.

I will try to read the whole series. I've had many times that the first book in a series isn't that great, but the sequel or another part of the series is really good. So I'll give it a chance.

I don't know. For years people have told me how amazing Percy Jackson books are, I expected more. I wasn't that impressed.
