This was so not what I expected from a Bridgerton book, and that was kind of a good thing. Thankfully, the plot points have been branching out so it isn't the same narrative so many different times. How Eloise is portrayed in the show is very different than this, so it will be interesting to see how they choose to tell her story. This probably goes on the lower end of my rankings, but still it was enjoyable.
