The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is a well researched book covering a variety of topics, well beyond Henrietta Lacks and Hela cells. I learned a lot and am happy I finally read this book full of information that the average person should know and appreciate. So many injustices, some never corrected, and never will. I wish we were able to know more about Henrietta, but I feel so much as already been taken from her and her family, that maybe it is fitting not to disclose any more.
