I found it to be a very slowvpace which I'm not a fan of so it got a 4.5 instead of 5⭐. But the twists and turns when they started got me interested.  this book went in every direction I did not expect. First read by this author for me and was a charity shop find. I read some of the reviews after I'd finished and a lot were 3 or below. I'm glad I stuck it out before I read the reviews because I did enjoy it.
