OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD I LOVED IT

I was very pleasantly surprised with this book. As someone who was a fan of F1 before reading this, I was sceptical that it was going to be overly cringey and read like fanfiction, as well as the actual commentary on the F1 being wrong, but this wasn't the case!

If you don't watch F1 you definitely won't be lost in this book - Asher does a really good job of making sure it stays very present in the plot alongside the romance between Noah and Maya, and explains what is happening and a lot of the rules in a quick and easy way throughout the book.

I really enjoyed the characters and all the relationships in this book, the friendships between Maya, Sophie and the 4 drivers as well as the hinting of the developing romance between Sophie and Liam (well set up for a later book).

The main romance of the book made me so giddy too. The enemies-t0-lovers, brothers-rival, 0-100 romance was beautiful. Having Noah's chapters was a great way to see his character and attitude change towards relationships throughout the book as his feelings for Maya grew. And the way he committed to her so fully once they started a relationship was heart-melting.

Will definitely be reading the rest of the series, and probably everything Lauren Asher has written now.
