I really wanted to give this book a least 3* but after looking to see how much longer was left on the 4-hour audiobook 3x I figured I would be honest.

The book reminds you of For Color Girls. It was short stories of I guess church girls. Really the book was about women and low-life men. Each story really left you hanging. I would be interested in future books by this author, I just didn't connect with these stories. I think i was looking for something different.
