I did Not expect that ending in any way. Not in a "wow, shocking ending!" way but a "why though" way, although it fits in with just how weird the rest of the story is, it felt like... I don't know, it feels like there should be much more? More plot, more "bosses", more romance before the end. Glad there's extras, but they're extras, not the main plot. I did enjoy this! I just wish there were more. Not too frustrated though, considering that this was MXTX's first ever novel series and that she was still in school writing this. I know it's just meant to be a bit of silly fun, as opposed to her much more serious later works.
