I cannot give high enough praise for this book. Leslie Jamison has done it again. The book is poetic, engaging, heartbreakingly honest, and humanizing. If you have known an addict, loved an addict, are an addict, or even just peripherally are affected by addiction this is an important read. I’m grateful that books like this on exist. Get ready for a whirlwind of emotions, vulnerability, and wisdom.
