The Reunion: A Novel
by Kayla Olson
fast-paced
This is a very cute friends to lovers second chance story, and I personally love romances that take place on film sets so it was right up my alley.
Former child stars who grew up on set together as best friends reconnect when they come back for a reunion episode. It's been 14 years since they've spoken, after misunderstandings and unrequited love blew up their friendship, makes sense because they were just kids, but they're not anymore so maybe things can be different.
I do wish that the characters had a bit more chemistry, all the relationships including the romance felt pretty surface level but I still enjoyed it overall.
Thanks to Netgalley and Simon&Schuster Canada for the advanced copy!
