Strange Planet
by Nathan W. Pyle
if you don’t live under a rock and have been frequenting instagram for the past year, i can pretty much guarantee you’ve seen at least one of these comic strips.
i’m not sure why the rephrasing of such common words is so funny, but it definitely works. not only are these comic strips hilarious, they’re also meaningful and you really learn to love the beings. also, their totally relatable. for example, there is a tattoo strip where the being asks, “will it hurt when you stab me?” i showed the whole comic to my tattooist on monday and he got a kick out of it.
if you enjoy puns and cute little creatures discovering their world, you’ll enjoy this book!
