this was a cute read but im a little put off by some things

the first half of the book Sawyer was secretly in love and pining over Preston, and has been for over 12 years. Sawyer gets involved with Fitz who is a spitting image and extremely similar to Preston and gets really serious and this catapults Prestons feelings for Sawyer.... like why now after all these years and whhhhhhy have Fitz have such a major role and then he's instantly dropped and forgotten but lets not forget that by the end of the book they are all buddy buddy. it boggles my mind
