I love Veronica’s style of writing, there’s always a humorous feel so it’s never too depressing but also addresses the darker aspects with a lot of care.

The fmc, barbi, was so unserious I couldn’t help but laugh every time she said smth. She’s cute as a button in my head. Take her character with a grain of salt bc this is only the first in a series. It’s very obvious she’s going to have a lot of developmental work done for her character. But even still I adored her naivety bc she was so relatable for wanting that book type romance lmao she’s such a diva when it comes to her dogs I love her
