The Devil's Intern by Donna Hosie

Hell isn't so bad...

I went into this not really knowing what to expect and I ended up enjoying it immensely. It was funny and witty, and it was an interesting take on hell (and heaven) with both running as businesses. It kind d of reminded me of supernatural after Crowley took over hell. I liked that it wasn't overly descriptive, it gave just enough to let your imagination do the rest. The characters were vastly different and I loved that they all for together perfectly like a dysfunctional family. The time travel plot of this novel was interesting. I usually don't go for novels that have that as a theme because honestly they kind of make my head spin but not so much this one. It was an easy, exciting read and the whole was through it I kept expecting something awful to happen (they are in hell at the end of the day) at first I wasn't sure if I would pick up the other three books in this series but now I think I will because I am craving more. It was a lighthearted, bittersweet adventure that I'm sure no matter what your preference , you will no doubt enjoy.
