I enjoyed this one much more than the first two, things are starting to fall together very pleasingly.

Dalinar’s memory coming back and making him stronger, as well as Shallan not knowing which person is the true hero, and Kalladin’s clear depression create imperfect heroes that Sanderson writes so well it is easy to see oneself in a fake magical character conjured up for a fake world. It is truly remarkable how well he does this.

I think I must mention this in my review or I will not remember and I want to. I am so sad that Sanderson killed Alicar. He was growing into a character I loved, and for it to happen with his son in his arms really devastated me. I wish he had gotten the ending he deserved.
