Awkward character work/conversations, and are spread really thin... WAY over explained, unnecessary relationship scenes. Very heavy handed lesson (or point) being told not shown.
Humor falls flat.
Zero emotional investment in some of my favorite characters. I did enjoy where we ended up.
I didn't hate the book, but it isn't the Sanderson I have loved in the past.
