I love a celebrity-normie romance, and overall this one is well done. It’s also a second chance romance, with a 10 year hiatus between the first chance and the second - and I loved seeing older characters who have been through A LOT. For the most part, the pacing and balancing of the two timelines worked really well. My main complaints: the ending felt a little rushed, and I felt like I needed a bit more fleshing out of the emotional depth of their initial connection to believe it could endure 10 years. The audio is excellent, and I think really helped my enjoyment of the book.
Moderate: Alcoholism, Homophobia
