Untouchable by Sam Mariano

Finally managed to finish this book after seeing that so many people are raving about it, and when i say raving is for both good and bad reviews.
I still don't know what to feel about it because there are things happening that i totally disagree but in a way i always think, this could be a real story because everything that happens in this book, happens in real life every day all over the world, no matter the country or language you are speaking.
Yes, as much as i like my book heroes to be the supreme alpha,i have to admit that i hate Carter, but again i must say that i might feel this because he is only 18 and at that age you think that he still has time to grow up and become a real man, to change over the years and become the perfect hero, but after reading all the twisted things that he had to go through as a child/teen, i understand why he is the way he is and his tastes and his character are like that. Yes, he shouldn't have done what he had done to Zoey, but as she says :
"He's spoiled, devious, and the mirror opposite of me in many ways, but we connect on a lot of levels, too."
"I spend every day of my life with people who like the look of a mask i wear, Zoey. You're the only person who likes what's underneath better."
Even if he is grooming her, when he senses that he is about to lose her is the time he gets rough and dominant and tries to subdue her with his twisted means. Even with all the drama that surrounds them in any school at their age, this book was so good.
I have really enjoyed the book as of writing style because it just kept me wanting to finish reading it, no matter how hard was to swallow the events at times, some of the sexy scenes were quite hot and i loved the banter between them because she is a strong heroine and smart and intelligent just like he is,they seem quite mature for their age. I felt for her and what he has done as i also felt for him and what he had to go through before moving in the same town.
I think the author wanted to show us that no matter who we are, where we come from and no matter what our tastes are, there is always someone for each one of us who will accept us and maybe they are driven by the same desires.
(I still hate Carter)
