Before I’d ever read any Lisa Kleypas book, I’d attempted to start this book a couple of times. Unfortunately I never seemed to be able to get into it. So I decided to try another Lisa Kleypas book and ended up really enjoying the Wallflowers series! And I’m so glad I went back to this Mine Till Midnight  after reading those. It’s definitely better to read the Wallflower books first because of the recurring characters. I still had a bit of a rough time getting through this one though. It wasn’t as great as the Wallflower books, but still a fun read. I also can’t wait for Winn and Merripen’s story, they kept teasing it.
