Evie was assaulted by her former boss and is now looking for a job. She encounters “the villain” while trying to save him and get entangled with his affairs while she’s his assistant. I can’t tell much more because I feel like it’s so worth a read. This book was so good! Okay so it starts kind of slow to the point in which I was like “what’s going on here?” But it picks up and it picks up quick in the later half. I really had such a fun time. I highly recommend it. I took off a star because of how slow it was at the start but the ending was so good!!! I can’t wait to read the next book!!
