What I Talk About When I Talk About Running
by Haruki Murakami
I don't know that anyone who isn't a distance runner would gain much from this? It's less memoir as a stream of consciousness on running, overcoming pain, and the strength of personal rules within that context.
In a lot of ways, it reminds me of a more coherent journey through my own muddled thoughts when I run and was insightful and weirdly optimistic and wholesome.
