This book is powerful. The writing is phenomenal, Morrison has such a way with words. My whole book is pink with highlights. The characters have so much depth, and the commentary on beauty and race is eye-opening, truely. This book does have SA and other themes of abuse, but it all fits well into the story and makes you think; thats to say it's very purposeful.
