This book was difficult to read quickly, not because it wasn't interesting, or engaging, or good (it was all of these things) but because it was just so difficult. It deals with difficult and heavy stuff but it does so respectfully, while staying true to the story it's trying to say and the characters in it. I cried so it got an extra star.
