I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this book after it first came out so I didn't really have a lot of expectations for it when I started reading.
That being said, I really liked this book. I like how it was told, I liked the characters, I liked the development, I liked everything about it. I thought it was very well done, I thought it was a very good Sherlock Holmes spinoff.
I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on the next book!
