Kiss the Fae
by Natalia Jaster
Kiss the Fae opens up with Lark waking up and realizes she has slept with a poacher. She doesn’t want them to take any of their animals and ends up being chased into faerie territory. While in the territory, her sisters come. Usually when someone comes into faerie territories, no one leaves alive. However, they are able to leave just fine. Yet, later that night they all disappear to one another and meet different Fae. A night later, they are given instructions on how to play a game to win their lives. They must go into separate territories alone. Lark meets a cunning Fae and they are enemies. Will they stay enemies for long? Will the three of them survive?
This has more adventure than romance and that’s why I docked it a star. I get easily bored when stories focus heavily on adventure. It’s still good though. I enjoyed the enemies to lover trope and enjoyed all the characters. I really want to see more world building and meet more characters. I’m hoping I can get that in book two. If you want a steamy romance, then this is for you.
