The Wide Window
by Lemony Snicket
Sometimes I feel like I started reading this series too old. Most people start it in elementary school. However the characters remain engaging and the story tragic, but intriguing. Frankly the moment I feel in love with this book was the very end when Snicket says 'And the moral of World War One is never assassinate Archduke Ferdninad.' It had nothing to do with the story at all, but being the history dork I am it made me giggle.
