I think I liked this one more than Legends and Lattes and I loved that one. This is the story of a much younger Viv and one of her adventures, kind of. When she gets wounded she ends up in a small town alone with not much to do, except read. She makes friends, fights some people, and has a summer romance. I will say that the romance was kind of felt unnecessary until the very end when we see Viv and Tandri a few years after Legends. This added a lot to the series and I think I love it all more now.
