This is by far one of the best yet emotional reads of 2024 for me…

This story was beautifully written and took me through a range of emotions from being triggered as an SA survivor and how SA is so taboo especially in the African American community. I felt my heartbreak, horror, grief, and shed tears of both sadness and finally happiness reading this book! The many gems on healing and how the process isn’t always easy or linear.

The way Shaun loved Caprice from such a young age was so beautiful!

I wanted to rock Gracie shit real bad!!
