Only Dull People Are Brilliant at Breakfast
by Oscar Wilde
I can’t exactly pinpoint my opinion on this book, as a lot of these quotations and musings are amazing, whilst another load of them feel hypocritical and/ or sexist, which really ruined the feel of the book to me. On top of that, a lot of Oscar’s quotations reflect a more cynical outlook on life, which doesn’t match my own outlook, so I couldn’t relate or connect to this book much, as I didn’t agree with many of the opinions. This book is definitely not of my taste, however it is a very subjective collection.
