I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Levana’s backstory. It gives you a whole new perspective on this fantastic villain.
Levana lived a hard and sad life. Hurt and unloved by the people that should have taken care of her she was always the forgotten child. This book really made me sympathize with her at times but it also made me realize how cruelly she was raised if she thought she was doing things the right way. You have to wonder how different things might have been if just one circumstance had changed.
The writing was fantastic as always and Marissa Meyer truly did a wonderful job painting the picture of how Levana became the person we know in the series.
