I've always been fascinated by Snow and Whitehead's investigations into the Broad Street cholera outbreak, so I found this book to be really interesting.

It tells the story of locating the source of the outbreak, the difficulties involved, the pushback by miasmatic theorists, as well as some history on the London sewerage system.

It's well-written, informative, and enjoyable.
