*3.5 stars, but i shall round it up for shadow demons

this was fun! i was listening to the audiobook and there were times where i was a little lost as to where in the plot we were focusing on, but other than that, i really liked everything else. i liked the main cast of characters and their time traveling together, altair was probably my favourite just because of his wit lol

the end interested me enough to pick up the sequel, simply bc yeesh i'm hoping everyone actually gets a moment of rest and happiness by the end
