you know as someone who has a really close relationship with my sister, i honestly felt like this book was really unbelievable? idk, i think its fine to make the sisters have an archetype they closely resemble, but i think the execution in this book is pretty poor. they just felt flat without really representing anything
also the second romance in this book was not believable either, you cant just tell me they really get each other without SHOWING me how they do that. didnt get the chemistry and all the subsequent drama it brought
oh, and the middle of this book was a slog. i think i really only liked the last 20%? im sorry, but a lot of the middle where im seeing the same thing happen 3 times from 3 different perspectives was not great to read through, and i feel like a lot of it was so much tell and not show.
it very much reads like a book your mom would read. which is fine if thats your vibe! not mine though
that being said, i did like how cinematic the writing was at parts. and like i said, the last 20% i actually did like.
