So I’ve only read the one book by this author, The Perfect Game, and it kind of ends with a bit of a cliffhanger, or at least you don’t know how things go, so I still need to find out the ending to their story. But I mean I guess I know how it ends because the characters from that story, Jack and Cassie, are the parents of Chance in this story!

At first I was a little unsure because as it mentions, Danika has a boyfriend. But since there isn’t any cheating between Danika and Chance while she is still dating Jared, and when we really get to know what Jared is like, I was okay with how all of it went. The attraction between Danika and Chance was really felt in the story, and I liked both of them as well as the other characters we got to meet. Even with all the things that happened between them that some were what I’ve read in other stories, I liked the way the author had the characters deal with them and end up resolving them. To me it is the way that most people deal with things and I liked that a lot. It also had its steamy moments, the kind you’d expect with college aged characters.

I haven’t read the first book in the series, but I’ll have to find time to go back and read it, and I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in the series which will be Chance’s best friend Mac’s story, and I kind of hope maybe it’ll be Danika’s roommate’s story as well. But we’ll see where the author takes it!
