Immortal X-Men starts right off the bat with big ideas. Not a BIG fan of Gillen's writing usually but it works here. Mostly because he gave us more Sassy Sinister, and thank god for that. One of the worst, 90's ever villains, actually has a fun personality. I'm thankful for that. So him taking lead and being the worst is great, and Hope gets some love, who is one of my favorite mutants around. So overall, a interesting start if not a bit slow.
